Position: Charter Driver – Seasonal Contract

Compensation: $29.50 per hour

At the end of the contract, there will be an opportunity to transition into a full-time position with Bellair Charters / Airporter Shuttle for seasonal drivers excelling in this position.

Benefits:

  • Guaranteed Pay – $29.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime.
  • Up to 4 months of guaranteed contract employment (May 2025 – Aug 2025)
  • Enjoy a relatively fixed schedule, which includes weekends as well as early morning and evening shifts.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow a check list to inspect your vehicle before and after driving.
  • Comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, maintain run logs, and use electronic trip sheets.
  • Work consistent full-time hours during 4 month contract commitment.
  • Safely load and unload passengers and their luggage up to 55 lbs.
  • Interact with Bellair Charters staff as well as Young Life Staff during each charter.
  • Understand and follow safe driving guidelines and practices.

Requirements:

  • CDL A or B w/ passenger endorsement required.
  • A clean driving record.
  • A clean background check.
  • Must be 25-years-old or older.
  • Current DOT physical.
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug test, this is a safety position.
  • Possession of valid passport or enhanced driver’s license and ability to cross the U.S. / Canadian border.
  • Professional, clean, and neat appearance.
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service in a high-paced environment.
  • Posses reliable transportation to Bellair Charters’ Ferndale, WA, office.
