Position: Airporter Shuttle Driver
Location: Ferndale, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $28 per hour – (guaranteed first 1,500 hours)

Bellair Charters / Airporter Shuttle is a fast-paced, growing company seeking career-minded individuals to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation to our valued customers between Ferndale, WA and Sea-Tac Airport.

• Training & Pay:
  • Training Period: 2 weeks of hands-on training to operate mini-buses and motor coaches, customized to each employee’s needs.
  • Training Pay: $20 an hour
  • Post-Training Pay: After  successful completion of driver training, you are guaranteed earnings $23 an hour + $5 an hour
    • Guaranteed Earnings: In your first 1,500 hours, if tips don’t add up to $5/hour, we’ll cover the difference to ensure you make $28/hour.
      • After first 1,500 hours, $23 an hour plus tips earned – $5/hour in tips no longer guaranteed
    • Performance Bonuses:
      • Driver safety bonuses available quarterly at $0.50 per hour worked.
• Full Benefits:
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits available after 90 days of continuous full-time service.
  • Paid Time Off to recharge and relax.
  • Schedule: Business operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
    • You may be asked to work work holidays, early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
  • CDL A or B preferred, but not required. On hiring, you’ll have 6 months to obtain a CDL and passenger endorsement.
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card preferred, but not required. We’ll help you obtain as needed.

Job Requirements

• CDL A or B preferred, but not required. You are still welcome to apply either way.
• Commercial driving experience preferred
• DOT medical card preferred, but not required at hiring.
• A current DOT physical
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening required.
• Professional, clean, neat appearance.
• Must be 25-years-old or older.
• Reliable transportation to the Burlington, WA, Airporter Shuttle office.

Daily Responsibilities

• Drive a fixed schedule between Burlington and the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, making scheduled stops along the way.
• Load and unload passenger luggage (requires ability to bend and kneel).
• Provide excellent customer service in a high-paced environment.
• Comply with DOT requirements, maintain run logs, and use electronic trip sheets.
